Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Members of Shikshak Bharati submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner on Tuesday regarding their different demands including promotion and transfers and school timing.

Considering the online transfers of teachers and the intensity of the summer, the teachers union demanded to extend the school timings from 7 am to 11.30 am for the health of the students.

“Before transfers, teachers who have been working in difficult areas since 2018-19 should be promoted to the post of Principal. All such teachers should be considered for the transfer process.

They should be given the opportunity to get a transfer. The Zilla Parishad has approved vehicle allowance and professional tax for disabled employees who should be given concessions in transfers,” they added. Rajesh Bhusari, Mahendra Barwal, Santosh Tathe, Sanjay B, Praveen Sansare, Deva Suradkar and others were present.
