Aurangabad, Nov 19:

Two thieves with the intention of theft attacked a father-son hotelier duo with a knife at Waluj on Thursday at around 3 am. The hoteliers Manoj Jaiswal and his son Piyush are injured in the attack but they caught one of the thieves and handed him over to the police. These thieves also broke two nearby medicine shops.

Hotelier Manoj Jaiswal runs a hotel on Lanzi Road at Waluj. On Thursday at around 3.30 am, some thieves entered the hotel by bending the shutter. The nearby resident informed Jaiswal about it. He and his son Piyush rushed to the hotel. On seeing the owners, the two thieves tried to run away on their motorcycle. However, they tried to nab the thieves. They nabbed one thief, but another managed to escape from the scheme. While taking the thief to the police station, he attacked the father – son duo with a knife. Still, they took him to the police station and handed him over to the police. Both the injured were taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.

Meanwhile, it was also unveiled that both the thieves also stole Rs 5,729 and a chocolate box from nearby Prashant medical and some cash from Shiva Medical Stores. The police have seized the articles worth Rs 35,000 from him. PSI, Laxman Umbre is further investigating the case.
