Aurangabad, March 12:

A youth came to the city to attend a marriage ceremony was robbed by thieves of his gold chain at Mukundwadi area. Moreover, the Mukundwadi police nabbed two chain snatchers who robbed the chain within an hour of the incident.

Police said, complainant, Santosh Anand Jadhav (30, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai) came to the city to attend a marriage ceremony on Wednesday evening. He went to the vegetable market in Mukundwadi area. Two hardcore criminals, Deepak Ramesh Sable (21) and Umesh Gautam Gawale (30, Brijwadi) forcibly snatched gold chain from his neck. In the shuffle, some part of the chain remained in the hand of Jadhav. Meanwhile, the Mukundwadi patrolling team including PSI Amol Mhaske, constable Babasaheb Kamble, Shailendra Adiyal, Manohar Gite, Sham Aadhe, Kailas Kakad and Sudhakar Patil received the information. The team nabbed both the accused in Brijwadi area within an hour after the incident.
