Aurangabad, April 26:

Thousands of teachers were deprived of March month salary across the State because of shortcomings in pay bills.

It may be noted that the State Government issued directives to shift the contribution of teachers from the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS) to National Pension Scheme (NPS) and map it with ‘Shalarth’ system.

The education department failed to do mapping in ‘Shalarth’ system and the treasury office have returned the bills to various parts of the State.

Akhil Bhartiya Urdu Shikshak Sangh (ABUSS), in a memorandum submitted to Chief Minister, stated that the problem can be resolved with the coordination between treasury and education departments. The memorandum was signed by its State unit general secretary Sajid Nisar Ahmed.
