Aurangabad, Nov 13:
The BJP and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are competing against each other in the election of Marathwada graduate constituency. MIM is also going to try their luck, while some independents have jumped in the competition.
For the first time, this election has got political glamour like other elections. Therefore, on the last day of filing of nomination papers, both the parties witnessed a strong show of strength from the BJP and MVK. The NCP candidates filed the nomination on the last day of application. Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP are contesting the elections together for the first time in the state. All parties are trying to connect with the intellectual graduate voters. This time, the parties have systematically planned strategies for votes. The BJP will have to fight harder this time to see the candidate win. Because, if the BJP could not win this constituency, it will be difficult for the party to meet the challenges of the MVK. The BJP is holding gatherings and meetings to reach to the grassroots and has also issued a warning to rebels. This time, NCP will be joined by Congress and Sena. Both the parties staged a show of strength for the candidates. BJP brought in an army of ministers, MPs, MLAs, office bearers and activists. Similarly, the NCP also held a vigorous program in the presence of ministers, MLAs and leaders of the three parties.
Sena had fielded candidates in this constituency in the last two elections. These candidates got 13,000 votes. In the 2006 elections, the Sena candidate played an essential role in electing the NCP candidate. Despite being in an alliance, Sena had fielded a candidate against the BJP.
