Aurangabad, Nov 14:

The Aurangabad division of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has provided a facility of ‘Abhangsnan’ to drivers and conductors who are away from home.

The tradition of providing ‘Abhasansan’ facility is maintained every year at the depot for employees on duty. There was a possibility of discontinuation of the tradition because of the spread of COVID this year. However, taking all COVID 19 measures, the tradition continued this year also.

All facilities were provided for Abhyangsnan at Cidco Bus Stand. Rangolis were made at the depots in wee hours today.

Drivers and conductors performed ‘Abhyangsnan’ at Central Bus Stand at 5 am today and prayed for the safe journey of passengers. They were also offered refreshment.

Division

Depot manager Amol Bhusari, bus stand chief Sangeeta Suryavanshi, operation inspector Arvind Khairnar, Ganesh Vanjare, Sanjay Dhanvai, Sai Daud, Sachin Tupe, Sanket Rathod took efforts for this. Divisional Control Officer Amil Ahire, depot manager Sunil Shinde, operation inspector Panpatil, assistant workshop superintendent Vijay Parkhe, Deepak Baglane, Ghanshyam Mhaske were present.
