Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A heron that got trapped in the branches of a tree in Anguri Baugh was saved due to the alertness of local youth. Nayan Sathe and Preetam Jadhav noticed the heron struggling while hanging from the tree and contacted the Life Care Animal Welfare Association for help. The association’s secretary Jayesh Shinde safely rescued the heron and, after treatment at Khadkeshwar's veterinary hospital, handed it over to the forest department's Ashish Joshi.

With the increasing heat intensity, many birds get injured and wander in search of water. If any injured birds are found, people are urged to immediately inform the forest department and bird enthusiasts.
