Aurangabad, Oct 16:

The Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) administration has slammed the third party agency for constant technical glitches during the graduate and post-graduate examinations. The administration said that the agency is discrediting the university in public. Hence reasons will no longer be heard. However, the students had to face difficulties on Friday. But, its proportion decreased.

The examinations for graduate and postgraduate courses started from October 9. From the first day, there was a lot of confusion in both online and offline exams. Many students were not able to open the paper link. When the link was opened, another topic paper would appear on the screen. Many questions as well as alternative answers are wrong, sometimes offline papers were not downloaded till late at night.

All these technical glitches have made the examinees helpless. Meanwhile, for the first time, the university has conducted examinations online and through a third party agency. The university administration on Friday gave a strict warning to the agency demanding that there should be no more problems.

The university also suggested that manpower must be increased to handle servers. However, there were some complaints of late opening of links and delay in downloading of offline papers.

Students will not face injustice

A delegation led by deputy secretary of Yuva Sena and former deputy mayor Rajendra Janjal, Rishikesh Khaire and Dr Tukram Saraf of Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena and others met VC Dr Pramod Yeole demanding to stop the confusion in the exam. Many students have been deprived of exams due to mistakes made by the university. The delegation also warned of agitation, if the university fails to resolve these issues. Dr Yeole assured that no student will be deprived of the exams.
