US-Iran War to Continue for Next 6 Months
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: "The US-Iran war will continue for at least another six months. With 80 per cent of the world's oil exports passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the war is a key driver of rising oil prices," said Dr Vijay Khare, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
He was speaking at the 'Milind Lecture Series' organised at Milind Arts College on Monday as part of the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Dr Khare said that India is yet to seriously consider Dr Ambedkar's foreign policy vision as a result, nations that were friendly after independence are gradually drifting away, and now even Bangladesh is turning hostile.

In his presidential address, senior literary figure Dr Pralhad Lulekar said India's foreign policy has been failing in recent times. "Had the rulers implemented Dr Babasaheb's foreign policy, this situation would not have arisen. India could have taken the lead in finding a way out of the war-like conditions gripping the world, but that has not happened," he added.
