In order to prevent accidents, the Waluj traffic branch filled the potholes on the roads in the main chowks with stones and asphalt in the Waluj industrial area on Saturday.

There are several potholes on the internal roads and highway in the Waluj industrial area. This leads to small and big accidents and vehicle owners have to risk their lives while driving. Accidents are taking place when vehicles unknowingly slam into a ditch at night and the driver loses control of the vehicle. KT Sangam construction company, which collects road tax and is responsible for repairing potholes on the Aurangabad-Nagar highway, has turned a blind eye towards the road maintenance. Huge potholes are formed at Kamgar Chowk and Tiranga Chowk on the main highway and white stripes have also disappeared. To prevent accidents in the industrial area traffic PI Sheshrao Udar, PSI Taher Patel and others took initiative. On Saturday, large potholes in Tiranga Chowk, A S Club road, Mahavir Chowk and Bajaj Vihar were filled with stones and asphalt. Inspector Udar said that a letter has been sent to KT Sangam Construction Company to fill the potholes on the road and to put white stripes on the traffic signals.
