Chhatrapati Sambhajiangar: A woman and her relatives were booked with Cidco Police Station on Saturday for hiding her first marriage.

Police constable Telure is on the case. Complainant Punyavardhan Chandrabhan Salve (32, Pavannagar) married a girl from the city in 2023. After five to six months after marriage, Punyavardhan Salve learnt about her first marriage.

He asked his wife about her first marriage. She informed him that she had done a court marriage earlier. She informed Salve that she could leave him anytime with her first husband.

He was shocked at this as the girl with whom he dreamed of spending his whole life was already married. Therefore, Salve filed a complaint against the accused at the Cidco police station on June 29, realising that, not just his wife, but also her relatives had concealed the matter.

A case was registered against the woman and her relatives for hiding her first marriage. The accused included Babasaheb Muley, Mohanbai Deorao Muley, Malan Mohan Muley and four others.
