A 25-year-old woman was viciously attacked in a public park by three women who accused her of having an affair with their relative. The assault, which occurred in broad daylight at N-11, Sudarshan Nagar, was caught on video and has since gone viral.
The attack took place on Sunday afternoon while children played nearby. The three assailants tracked the woman down and, without warning, began beating her. They kicked, punched, and pinned her to the ground while hurling abuses. Despite her cries for help, they continued the assault. Eyewitnesses claim the attackers included the young man's mother and aunt. Reports suggest the violence erupted after the man scolded his mother over the issue. Shockingly, as of Monday evening, no complaint had been registered at the Cidco police station. The viral video has sparked outrage, with calls for action against the attackers. Police are yet to respond to the incident.
