Aurangabad, March 23:

Osmanpura police have registered an offence against a youth, who under the pretext of marrying a girl, sexually exploited her for four long years. The accused had also aborted the foetus two times during these years.

The accused is identified as Anand Dilip Jadhav (22, Mahunagar, on Beed Bypass Road). Police said, " The victim and the accused became friends in 2017. Later on, they fell in love with each other. The couple started picnicking at various places. In the meantime, he proposed to marry her and developed physical relations with her at various places, including at one of his friend's room in the Sai Tekdi area, in the house of the victim's grandmother, an isolated place behind the Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital etc."

When the victim got conceived, she insisted on Anand for marriage, but he convinced her for abortion, saying that it is impossible to marry her at the present moment. He offered her medicines relating to abortion. When this happened two times, the victim raised suspicion. She started insisting on him for marriage, and one day the accused refused to marry her. The dejected victim then lodged a complaint against the accused of torturing her through sexual exploitation. Meanwhile, the Osmanpura police station had booked Anand for the crime, and further investigation is on by PSI Sadhana Adhav.
