Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A notorious goon Rohit Raju Ghule attacked an 18-year-old Dinesh Navgire with a sharp-edged weapon when the latter refused to bring a cigarette for Rohit. The accused was also injured by trying to run over his motorcycle on the victim. This incident took place in Bharatnagar on March 24. A case has been registered at Pundaliknagar police station.

According to complaint, Rohit took Dinesh with him on his two-wheeler to meet a friend on Monday evening. After travelling a distance, Rohit stopped before a pan kiosk and told Dinesh to bring a cigarette. The pillion rider refused to do so. Rohit gor angry. Dinesh then ran towards home. Angry Rohit then whisked out a sharp knife and tried to attack on his back. Dinesh sustained severe injuries as Rohit tried to run the motorcycle on the victim’s legs twice. Dinesh succeeded in reaching home. However, Rohit created terror in front of Dinesh’s house by kicking the door multiple times. Later on, Dinesh’s family mustered courage and lodged a police complaint against the accused.
