RDB Infrastructure and Power Limited Secures Industrial Land for Solar Manufacturing Project in Nava Raipur

New Delhi [India], April 08: RDB Infrastructure and Power Limited (formerly RDB Realty & Infrastructure Limited), in consortium with Samvik Power Private Limited, has received a Notice of Award from Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran for the allotment of industrial land to develop a solar cell manufacturing and processing facility. The project will be located at Layer-II, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, marking a significant step in the company's expansion into the renewable energy sector.

The allotted land parcel spans approximately 36.46 acres (1,47,531.864 square meters), providing ample capacity for the development of a comprehensive solar manufacturing ecosystem. The land has been awarded at a premium rate of Rs. 2,501 per square meter, with the total land premium amounting to approximately Rs. 36.9 crore. This investment underscores the company's commitment to contributing to India's growing focus on clean and sustainable energy solutions.

As per the terms of the award, the land will be allotted on a leasehold basis for a period of 90 years. The lease agreement is to be executed within 90 days from the date of the Notice of Award, with lease rentals subject to revision every 30 years. The project is expected to strengthen the company's position in the renewable energy value chain while supporting domestic manufacturing capabilities in the solar sector.
