IPL franchises have amped up their preparation for next year's edition ahead of the retention deadline on November 15. The ten participating franchises have already released several players from their incumbent squad, with the mini-auction taking place next month for the 16th edition of the tournament.
The mini-auction for IPL 2023 is slated to take place in Kochi on December 23. All ten participating franchises have been asked to send in their final list of the released and retained player by Tuesday, November 15. In a bid to bolster their squads for the next edition of the tournament, each team have been granted an extra sum of Rs 5 crore, elevating the pursue value to Rs 95 crore for the 2023 mini-auction.
