Mohammad Rizwan, the captain of Multan Sultans, has once again grabbed attention, this time for his decision to address his team in Urdu during a pre-season practice session ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024. The speech, delivered with passion and conviction, was intended to fire up the team as they prepare for the upcoming season. However, the choice of language left some of his overseas teammates puzzled. England all-rounder David Willey, asked if he understood the speech, humorously responded, "Treat the conditions," which sparked laughter among the players.
Rizwan recently faced trolling for his English-speaking skills during pre- and post-match interviews at the Champions Trophy. Even former Australian spinner Brad Hogg joined in on the fun. However, his decision to speak in Urdu this time was seen as a refreshing change.
