Liam Livingstone provided some stability with a 40-ball 54, which included five sixes and a four. He built a crucial 52-run partnership with Jitesh Sharma, who contributed 33 runs. Tim David added a late flourish with a quickfire 32 off 18 deliveries.
Gujarat Titans’ bowlers kept the pressure on throughout the innings. Apart from Siraj, Sai Kishore picked up two wickets for 22 runs, while Ishant Sharma and Arshad Khan took one each.
Earlier, Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first. Kagiso Rabada was unavailable due to personal reasons. Siraj’s disciplined spell, supported by Arshad and Kishore, ensured RCB could not capitalize on their middle-order contributions.
