Actress Ameesha Patel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa fame has landed in a soup. The actress has been accused of 'cheating' and a police complaint has been filed against her by a social worker. Recently, Ameesha Patel performed at an event at Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh. The actress, hours after the performance, had tweeted about not feeling safe at the venue and had thanked the local police for protection. However, the organisers of the event have accused the Gada: Ek Prem Katha star of cheating them.
A police complaint has been filed against her for 'cheating' by a social worker named Sunil Jain. As per a report by ETimes, the complainant has said that Ameesha had charged a huge amount for the event but only staged an 'extremely brief performance'. A police officer who was at the location reportedly told the media that Ameesha left the venue after performing for only 3 minutes. "The actress reached the stage built on the temple premises at around 9.30 pm and greeted the audience. Ameesha was supposed to perform for one hour, but she left for Indore after giving a performance for only 3 minutes." Meanwhile, Ameesha had issued a statement on her Twitter handle about the event. "Attended the Navchandi Mahostav 2022 yesterday 23 rd April in Khandwa city, Madhya Pradesh … v v v v badly organised by Star Flash Entertainment and Mr Arvind Pandey .. I feared for my life but I want to thank the local police for taking care of me v well."
