Ananya Panday Celebrates World Kindness Day by Spreading Joy with Creativity and Compassion
Kindness has always been at the heart of Ananya Panday’s So Positive — an initiative that keeps finding new, heartfelt ways to connect with people. A few months ago, Ananya launched the Kindness Curriculum in collaboration with Slam Out Loud — a first-of-its-kind art-based learning program that helps children explore empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence through storytelling, poetry and visual arts. Ananya herself lent her voice and presence to all six modules, guiding young learners through real-life reflections on kindness, self-acceptance and community — making it a project that feels deeply personal and purposeful.
Soon after, on World Mental Health Day, she introduced junk journaling — a creative practice that encouraged people to pause, reflect and show kindness to their own thoughts. The specially curated So Positive journals struck a chord and sold out twice — a reflection of how deeply the idea resonated with her audience. The activity reminded everyone that mental wellness often begins with small acts of honesty and self-care and that creativity can be a beautiful bridge to healing.
And now, on World Kindness Day, Ananya adds another thoughtful touch with her DIY bag charm kits. Each charm, a token of gratitude and connection, stands as a reminder that kindness doesn’t need to be grand — it just needs to be consistent. From classrooms to journals to everyday accessories, So Positive continues to grow as a gentle, creative movement that celebrates kindness in every form.
