Suraj Chavan won the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 title at home after defeating Abhijeet Sawant in the top 2 on Sunday, October 6. Chavan took a Rs 14,60,000 cash prize and an electric scooter from Tunwal. Meanwhile, the runner Abhijeet Sawant gets a 1 lakh gift voucher.
BBM Season 5, hosted by the Maharashtra-based famous Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, had 16 contestants, including 16 well-known Marathi personalities. Nikki Tamboli, who was expected to be the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi, was the third contestant who was evicted minutes before the title announcement.

Suraj Chavan, who became popular for his performance in the BB Marathi season 5, lifted the trophy, while Abhijeet Sawant bagged second position, whereas fame Nikki Tamboli, Dhananjay Powar and Ankita Walawalkar secured third, fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
The finale episode witnessed special guests from Bollywood who joined the stage with host Riteish Deshmukh. The cast of the Jigra film, followed by Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, and director Vasan Bala, made appearances on the show and interacted with the last three contestants of the show. Alia praised Bigg Boss Marathi and Deshmukh during his opening statement.

Suraj Chavan is a man from a small village in the Baramati district of Maharashtra. Suraj got famous on Chinese app TikTok, apparently which is currently banned in India. Born and bought in a poor family, Chavan made his own existence. He also worked as a foreman in his professional life.
Initially, Suraj Chavan refused to participate in Bigg Boss, but later, BB Marathi officials visited his house to convince him that he accepted the invitation. Suraj got huge support from his fans.
