‘Chennai Express’ producer Karim Morani’s daughter Shaza Morani tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease. The celebrity daughter is currently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai and other members of her family are currently in quarantine and will soon be tested for coronavirus. Confirming the same, Karim Morani, who is also a close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, told a news portal that it is true and that she has been found positive for coronavirus but she has no symptoms. According to a report in Indian Express, Shaza had returned from Australia just before the lockdown was announced.

Karim Morani has films like, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Happy New Year’ and ‘Ra.One’ to his credit. He has also been in the limelight for his alleged involvement in certain scams. After Kanika Kapoor, Shaza is probably the second individual having relations with the Bollywood film industry to test positive for COVID-19. For the unversed, singer Kanika Kapoor had tested positive for Coronavirus a few days back and is currently receiving treatment for the same. The widespread coronavirus pandemic has forced the entire world to maintain social distance and be self-quarantined. Bollywood celebs too have been homebound since PM Narendra Modi announced 21-days lockdown to curb the spread of the dreadful disease.
