Dana Eden Dies: 52-Year-Old Producer of 'Tehran' Found Dead During Filming in Athens

Dana Eden, a producer and creator of the drama series 'Tehran', was found dead on Sunday in a hotel in Athens, Greece. The exact cause of death of the 52-year-old, who was filming the 4th season series, is under investigation.

Kan public broadcaster, mourned the demise ofthe  creator, said, “In recent days, the fourth season of the series has been filmed in Greece — a complex and significant production, which Dana travelled to closely oversee.”

According to media reports, she was found lifeless in her hotel room in Athens by her brother, who was searching for her after she did not respond to his messages and calls. Local police took custody of the body and sent it for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of her death.

According to initial reports, it is not believed that there was foul play. However, the police team has began investigation by collecting hotel CCTV footages and asking hotel staff about Dana Eden.
