On the occasion of National Cancer Day, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit took to her Instagram handle to share her younger son’s deed where he chose to donate his hair for cancer patients. Sharing a video, Madhuri penned an inspiring note which read, “NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES….. But mine did 🤗 On the occasion of National Cancer Day, I would like to share something really special ”She also added, “Ryan felt heartbroken seeing several folks who were undergoing chemo for cancer. With everything they go through, they lose their hair. My son took a call of donating his hair to the Cancer Society. We as parents were thrilled with his decision. As per guidelines, it took him almost 2 years to grow the required length of hair. And this was the final step. Here we are today standing proud. @drneneofficial”
Earlier, in March this year, Madhuri Dixit took to Instagram and wished her son Ryan on his 16th birthday. In the picture, the birthday boy stands with Madhuri and his father Dr. Shriram Nene.She wrote: "You fill my heart with joy & pride, Ryan. Happy sweet 16 Love you." One could instantly notice his unconventional hairstyle in the post. The 16-year-old posed with long wavy hair.While her fans loved the picture, a few did joke about how serious Ryan looked. One said: "He look so bored to be in this picture. Typical teen." Another said: "Why he is so upset I think he didnt receive his gift as promised Happy birthday."Her husband Dr Shriram Nene also posted a picture with his boys to wish Ryan.
