Mrunal Thakur on Modern Love in Do Deewane Seher Mein: “It’s Not Falling in Love, It’s Rising in Love”

In a recent media interaction, Mrunal Thakur opened up on the emotional core of Do Deewane Seher Mein, she shared a refreshing and deeply relatable take on modern love, one that she believes will strongly resonate with today’s generation. When asked what aspect of the film’s love story would connect most with audiences, the actor summed it up in a single, powerful word,  “Insecurities.”

Elaborating further, Mrunal explained how the film moves beyond conventional romantic tropes and instead explores a more honest, layered connection between two individuals. “When two people meet each other with their respectful insecurities, it’s not people falling in love but people rising in love,” she said.

According to Mrunal, Do Deewane Seher Mein reflects relationships as they exist in real life, imperfect, vulnerable, and evolving. Rather than presenting love as a flawless fairy tale, the film embraces emotional baggage, self-doubt, and personal growth, making the bond between the characters feel authentic and grounded.

Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur’s magical chemistry looks absolutely endearing. They play characters who are still figuring themselves out, and that’s rare to see in love stories. With genuine romance and emotional depth, they come together as one of the most heart-warming on-screen pairings of the year.

Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions present 'Do Deewane Seher Mein', starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, directed by Ravi Udyawar. The film is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. 'Do Deewane Seher Mein' which releases around Valentine's week is slated for a theatrical release on 20th February 2026.
