CEO of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Apoorva Mehta, was summoned by the Mumbai Police today in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. He was spotted at the Amboli Police station to record his statement over the agreement signed with Rajput for 2019 film, Drive co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez.

It is said that Karan Johar will be quizzed next as Kjo has come under the scanner for allegedly being unfair towards 'outsiders' of the industry. Kangana Ranaut too will be recording her statement in the next few days. Reportedly, 40 people who were associated with Sushant Singh Rajput in some or the other way have been quizzed so far. The 34-year-old actor died by suicide at his Bandra residence on June 14. Many celebs have accused Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt  of running a 'movie mafia' in the industry.
