A new episode of Man Vs Wild featuring superstar Rajnikanth with Bear Grylls is being shot at the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. As per recent reports, Rajnikanth and Grylls will explore the wild in Bandipur Tiger Reserve and the shooting for the episode will take place for six hours in a day in the forest area. Meanwhile, the first day of the shoot has been successfully completed on January 27 and the remaining portion to be completed on Tuesday. Rajnikanth has allotted two days from his busy schedule for the episode. 

The Forest department has granted permission with certain riders. During the filming the production house has to ensure that there is no damage done to trees and no disturbance to the wildlife. Use of electricity, inflammable, or fire explosives is stictly prohibited. The production house will also have to pay a refundable deposit for every additional day. In an MoU signed between the production house, Seventaurus Entertainment studios and the Karnataka State Forest department, the shoot will take place for half a day in 27th January, all of 28th and half a day on 29th.
