The dead body of TV serial actress and anchor Shanti aka Vishwashanti was found at her residence in Yellareddyguda engineers colony, in Hyderabad on Thursday.Shanti was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The TV anchor had been residing in a flat. Neighbours alerted cop when she did not come out of her flat for the last 4 days.

The SR Nagar police rushed to the spot and gathered information. The police seized Shanti’ mobile phone and enquired her neighbours for more details. They registered a suspicious death case and took up an investigation . The police are verifying the CCTV footage at the area for any clues that led to her death.The body of Shanti was shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem and the investigation will be launched based on the report. Meanwhile, several Television actors condoled the death of Shanti.
