Argentina, without Lionel Messi, beat Brazil 4-1 in the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier match. Giuliano Simeone, Julian Alvarez, Alexis Mac Allister, and Enzo Fernandes scored the goals for Argentina. Matheus Cunha scored for Brazil.  Currently, Argentina is top of the CONMEBOL table, while Brazil is third after a crushing defeat. However, Brazil still has a chance to book their spot. 

Argentina took the lead through Julian Alvarez in the 4th minute of the match, while Enzo Fernandez scored a second goal in the 12th minute. In the 26th minute, Matheus Cunha netted Brazil's only goal, while Alexis Mac Allister scored a third goal in the 37th minute.

Clash Between Two Teams 

In the 71st minute, Giuliano Simeone added a fourth goal for Argentina. Argentina scored 31 points in total after this win, which lifted it to the top of the standings and officially qualified for the World Cup.
