As COVID-19 runs rampant across the world, a team of researchers have found associations between certain lifestyle factors and a person's risk of getting infected. During the last year when the Corona crisis hit our country, when there was no specific solution against the pandemic, Indian traditional medicinal therapy proved to be very effective in boosting immunity. Indian medicinal methods like turmeric, milk, Kadha proved as immunity boosters

But as the covid cases started to decrease people paid less attention to drinking immunity boosting drinks. Now that the covid cases have started to increase again one must start again to consume these drinks. However did you you know that there are also drinks that can be harmful for your body and may weaken your immune system.

A new report published in Amar Ujala where Physician Dr Parvesh Malik talk about such drinks, check out:

Soda water:It is one of the most popular drinks in India. In fact, people think that soda water cools the stomach heat and provides coolness, but they may not be aware that its overdose can also harm the body. With regular intake, the digestive system deteriorates and liver and intestinal damage also occurs. This can weaken the immune system. Therefore, it is important to stay away from soda water during this corona period.

Alcohol:Alcohol consumption by covid infected person can be harmful. Daily consumption of alcohol can lower immunity and increase the risk of infection. In addition alcohol can cause a lot of problems in the body. Therefore, it is better not to drink alcohol.

Coffee:You might like to drink coffee in the morning. Coffee can give you a feeling of freshness, but it contains caffeine which can harm your body if consumed in large quantities. Infact, stimulants in tea leaves or coffee beans affect the immune system, thus weakening the immune system. Therefore, it is important that you consume small amounts of coffee and consult your doctor if possible.
