The outbreak of coronavirus worsened on Thursday with 27 new cases reported by 11 different states and Union territories bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 169, including three deaths. Across the world, the virus has infected over 200,000 and killed more than 8,000 people

The government is taking full efforts to prevent the spread of the disease. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is promoting 'social distancing' to protect people.
