Bangladeshi actress Humaira Himu recently passed away at the age of 37. According to reports, the actress was rushed to Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital on November 2nd where doctors declared dead. President of Actors Equity Association reportedly told the media that the doctors called the police after noticing faint ligature mark on her neck. He also revealed that the friend had left the hospital before the police arrived and that they are looking for him. 

Reports further stated that a postmortem will now be carried out to find the exact cause of death. The police have claimed that Humaira had a romantic relationship with a youth and she may have committed suicide after the couple had an argument on the afternoon of November 2. Police has also suspected that the man fled before doctors pronounced her dead. Humaira Himu made her film debut in ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’ in 2011 and is known to have started her acting career way back in 2006 with a television series. She appeared on various TV dramas, including 'Bari Bari Sari Sari', 'Housefull', 'Gulshan Avenue' among others. She also entered filmdom through 'Amar Bondhu Rashed' film. The plot of the film was based on the War of Liberation of 1971 and her acting in the film received applause from crirtics.
