A dramatic police chase unfolded in Long Beach, California on Friday, March 28, as Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and other law enforcement agencies pursued a suspect driving a reportedly stolen vehicle. The chase began in Commerce and quickly escalated into a dangerous situation, with the driver recklessly navigating through traffic and ultimately crashing into multiple vehicles.
The suspect was seen driving on the wrong side of the road, narrowly avoiding pedestrians and other cars. The chase reached a violent climax at the intersection of 7th Street and Termino Avenue when the suspect ran a red light and collided head-on with two vehicles. The impact was severe enough to send his truck crashing into a concrete barrier in front of a Sherwin-Williams paint store.

After the crash, the suspect attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by police officers who tackled him to the ground. Reports indicate that at least ten cars were involved in collisions during the pursuit. However, people receives minor injuries during the crime. While the exact number of injured individuals is still unclear, it has been confirmed that at least one officer sustained injuries during the arrest.
