Casualties feared after a bulldozer ran over several people in a busy market in Beijing, China on Saturday, March 28. A dramatic video of a banned social media platform TikTok surfaced on the internet in which a yellow-coloured bulldozer driven by an unidentified man smashed shops and people were seen shouting at him.
The incident took place at Dahanji Market in Beijing’s Fangshan District at around 11 am on Saturday, according to The Epoch Times. According to the report, large and crowded local market in the southwest of the capital city.

The bulldozer broke through a checkpoint before running over into the crowd, according to The Epoch Times. The driver was said to be a man in his 50s and arrested on the spot by the police.
Meanwhile, Chinese authorities have not released casualty and injury numbers in the following incident. One person was reported commenting on the Chinese app TikTok that at least eight people were killed in the alleged incident, but that report could not be confirmed.
