Iran Releases List of 8 Key Gulf Bridges After US-Israel Strike Destroys Tallest Bridge in Karaj
Tit-for-tat for Iran, as it has promised to destroy mega infrastructure in the Middle East after US-Israeli strikes destroyed a crucial bridge in Karaj on Thursday, April 2. Tehran has released the list of eight bridges that are on its target.
'Hit list' published by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) includes several essential infrastructures in Gulf nations and Jordan after the US and Israel military operation led to the collapse of Iran's tallest B1 bridge, the country's Fars News Agency reported.
Earlier today, the B1 Bridge on the Karaj Northern Bypass in western Tehran, Iran was targeted in a U.S. and/or Israeli strike, amidst an uptempo in joint U.S.-Israeli strike operations, announced by U.S. President Donald J. Trump last night. pic.twitter.com/Gm0NA2RZOC

The list includes the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Sea Bridge in Kuwait; the Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Al Maqta Bridge and Sheikh Khalifa Bridge in the United Arab Emirates (UAE); the King Fahd Causeway linking Saudi Arabia to Bahrain; as well as the King Hussein Bridge, Damia Bridge and Abdoun Bridge in Jordan, as per Anadolu.

On Thursday, US-Israel strikes destroyed the tallest bridge in the Middle East. Several people were killed and injured in a strike that came after Donald Trump warned of bombing Iran "back to the Stone Age". The 136-metre-high B1 bridge was still under construction and was supposed to link Tehran to the western city of Karaj.

It only conveys the defeat and moral collapse of an enemy in disarray. Every bridge and building will be built back stronger. What will never recover: damage to America's standing. pic.twitter.com/872zuE36qD
