Five people were reportedly injured after two royal horses ran loose in central London and collided with cars on the road on Wednesday, April 24. A video recorded by bystanders is going viral on social media websites.  According to the media reports, five household cavalry horses, including one soaked with blood, have run loose in the city after throwing their military riders during their morning exercise.

Horse Collides With Car on Road

In a viral video, two horses are seen running at high speed, with one horse covered in blood. The black horse was later seen colliding with the back SUV and the end of the road. According to DiscloseTV, horses were sighted galloping along Buckingham Palace Road outside Victoria Station, just yards from where the Household Cavalry is based.

Police Are Working With the Army To Locate Them

Reports also suggest that a horse which is bleeding first ran into a taxi outside a hotel, while another hit a tour bus, smashing the windscreen of the bus. People spotted horses running through many areas, including Tower Bridge and the Strand, before the first two were captured near Limehouse in east London.

One of the witnesses on Lower Belgrave Street told the London news outlet The National that he heard a "boom." "I thought it was a car accident. Then I saw the horses," said Bashir Aden, who works in security for a construction company.

London Polic Informed About the Incident:

London City Police's X (formerly Twitter) official handle read, "At around 8.40 am, we were called about horses that had become loose and were travelling through the City."

Our officers have contained two horses on the Highway near Limehouse. We are waiting for an Army horse box to collect the horses and transport them to veterinary care, said City Police in a tweet.
