At least three passengers were killed and 20 others were injured in a collision between a private bus and a truck on Tuesday morning, April 15. The accident took place on the Khamgaon–Nandura road. Three critically injured persons were referred to Akola for further treatment. The collision was so severe that the front portions of both the truck and the bus were badly damaged.

According to eyewitnesses, both the brick-laden truck from Madhya Pradesh and the bus were travelling at high speed at the time of the incident. Khamgaon police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident and conducted a panchnama. Further investigation into the incident is underway. The identification of the deceased is also in progress.
