The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited within two days set up the necessary power system to provide power connection to two newly formed oxygen manufacturing unit at Jejuri and Ranjangaon industrial estates after it received applications for their new connections.

The daily oxygen production capacity of Kay Chandra Iron Engineering Works Pvt Ltd (Jejuri) is 12.5 MT, while the daily capacity of Oxy-Air Ranjangaon is about 08 MT.

In the current Corona scenario,Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Pune, Ajit Pawar,is keeping an eye on the project for speedy implementation. The state authority was constantly taking follow-up of their end regarding the work completion.

Considering the gravity of the Corona situation, MSEDCL Chief Engineer Sunil Pavade had instructed the concerned authorities as well as the working contractor to immediately start power supply to both the companies after his team completed all works. Engineers and electrical workers of Yakami MSEDCL at Ranjangaon and Jejuri worked hard to complete the entire procedure.

Therefore, it was possible to complete the entire work within two days and start the power supply today (23rd), said Superintendent Engineer Chandrasekhar Patil.
