So far, various states have demanded 34 crore doses for the Serum Institute in Pune. The private hospital has informed them that they want 2 crore doses. According to sources, Covishield could be supplied to some states in the next four days. Five states will receive the Covishield this week.
According to sources in the Serum Institute, the first corona vaccine will be supplied to Maharashtra and four other states. The remaining states have been asked three weeks to fulfill their demand. As the corona vaccine becomes available to states, it will be given to people over the age of 18.
