553 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra. The total number of positive cases in the state has risen to 5229.

In the last 24 hours, 19 more deaths were recorded which has taken the total death in the state to 251, according to Public Health Department, Govt of Maharashtra. 

Maharashtra is one of the worst hit state by COVID-19 in the country with maximum cases. 

Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has revoked lockdown relaxations from Mumbai and Pune, as these cities have maximum number of cases.
