Nagpur witnessed a memorable moment as Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hoisted the National Flag atop a 200-foot-tall flagpole at Kasturchand Park. This was not merely about hoisting a flag at a great height; it symbolized the identity, sacrifice, courage, and renown of 1.4 billion Indians. The project, established through the collaboration of the local administration and the Lokmat Media Group, is set to become a major attraction in the city.

The ceremony was held in the presence of several dignitaries, including Lokmat Group Chairman Mr. Vijay Darda, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, citizens, and other distinguished guests. The atmosphere became charged with patriotism as the strains of the National Anthem filled the air, and those in attendance saluted the Tricolour, conveying a message of national unity.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that India’s Tricolour symbolizes unity, diversity, secularism, and the democratic values enshrined in the Constitution. He remarked that such initiatives strengthen the sense of national pride among citizens and inspire the younger generation with a spirit of patriotism.

He said that this 200-foot-tall flagpole in Nagpur is poised to become a prominent landmark in the region and will continue to serve as a constant beacon conveying the message of patriotism and national unity.
