The Police Commissioner of Nagpur, Amitesh Kumar has tested COVID-19 positive. The officer confirmed the report while talking to a leading news daily. 

Amitesh Kumar, an IPS officer of 1995 batch, took over the reigns of Nagpur city police from BK Upadhyay as Maharashtra government reshuffled the state polices' senior officers in September. As per media reports, his health is doing fine, but as per protocol he will be isolating himself.  Kumar after testing positive for the deadly virus appealed to people who came in contact with him, to get themselves tested.
