Maharashtra: Total number of COVID-19 cases rises to 12,974 in the state

678 new coronavirus cases were reported as on May 4 in Maharashtra, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra to 12,974. Among the total people infected as on date, 2,115 have recovered and 548 have passed away.

Mumbai has the highest number of Covid-19 cases at 3096 confirmed infections. 

Within the country, Maharashtra continues to have the most cases with 12974, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
