Maximum temperatures have dropped below normal across Maharashtra, except in Vidarbha, while light rain is likely in the Greater Mumbai region on Tuesday, March 31. IMD said two western disturbances are currently active over the country. Under their influence, rainfall is likely over northwest India between March 30 and April 4. Hail has also been reported in parts of Maharashtra, and more such activity is possible in isolated areas.

Pune, Jalgaon, Mahabaleshwar, Nashik and Sangli also recorded a drop of more than 1 degree Celsius. Pune recorded 26.2 mm of rainfall, while Lohegaon recorded 36 mm.
