Abidin Bahrainwala, senior consultant doctor at Saifee Hospital, died of coronavirus on Friday. He was 86 years old.

Bahrainwala's family friend had come to visit him at his place from the United States seven days ago. The guests hid their symptoms when they were advised to home quarantine. Dr Abidin Bahrainwala contracted the infection from them and his son cardiac surgeon, Dr. Hafiz Bahrainwala and four others from the family have been tested positive now. 

All doctors, staff , radiologists who came in contact with the doctor have been told to quarantine themselves.  

The total number of coronavirus cases in the state has gone upt 135. India's case count stands at 724, of whom 66 have recovered and 17 have succumbed to the disease.
