Daughter of senior NCP leader Eknath Khadse, Rohini Khadse, has tested positive for COVID-19. Rohini took to Twitter to inform her followers. "I have tested positive for COVID, my health is better," she said. As a precautionary measure, she has been admitted to the hospital. She also appealed that everyone who has come in contact with her in the last six days should take a coronavirus test and take care of themselves. 

Rohini is the Chairman of Jalgaon District Central Co-operative Bank.She is also active in the politics of Jalgaon district. In the last assembly elections, she contested on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket, however, she lost to a Shiv Sena candidate. She recently joined the NCP along with Eknath.
