Three COVID-19 patients from Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad in Maharashtra have tested negative in their repeat samples on Friday. They are expected to be discharged today following due process, said Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar. 

Whereas twelve persons were confirmed to have contracted the virus in Western Maharashtra's Sangli district, taking the number of COVID-19 patients in the district to 24.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the state have gone out 135. India's case count stands at 724, of whom 66have recovered and 17 have succumbed to the disease.
