Republic Day 2026 Parade: Maharashtra Tableau to Showcase Ganeshotsav on Kartavya Path in Delhi on 26th January
India will celebrate its 77th Republic Day on Monday, January 26. The Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path in New Delhi will feature a grand military march, a display of advanced weaponry, thrilling drills, and tableaux highlighting the culture and traditions of various states. This year, Maharashtra will also present a tableau at the Republic Day parade. The Maharashtra tableau will showcase Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the state’s most prominent cultural traditions.

The theme of Maharashtra’s Republic Day tableau is self-reliance, presented through the celebration of Ganeshotsav. The tableau will feature replicas of Ganesh idols made from traditional shadu clay. It will also depict Konkan traditions such as carrying Ganesh idols on the head, along with replicas of the Ashtavinayak Ganesh temples. Folk artists will perform and present Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage and traditional art forms alongside the tableau.

Meanwhile, a total of 30 tableaux from 17 states and 13 central ministries will participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26, 2026.
