MHADA Mumbai Lottery 2026: Total 2,640 Flats in Price Range of Rs 29 Lakh To Rs 6.82 Crore

The Mumbai Board of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced a lottery of 2,640 flats for the year 2026. The key highlight of this lottery is that it offers housing options for everyone, from the common man to the high-income group.

According to the MHADA lottery 2026, the cheapest house in Mankhurd is priced at around Rs 29,37000, while the most expensive house in the luxurious Crescent Tower in Tardeo is priced at Rs 6 crore 82 lakh for High Income Group (HIG). These houses are located in prime areas of Mumbai, such as Vikhroli, Goregaon, Borivali, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Powai, Wadala, Dadar, Mazgaon and Tardeo, giving people from all income groups an opportunity to apply.

There are several tenements in the Rs 2 crore to Rs 4 crore price range in the schemes, and the most affordable apartments are over 300 sq ft in the Mankhurd and Goregaon areas, priced at over Rs 29 lakh and Rs 32 lakh, the list shows.

The 2,640 flats announced by the MHADA Mumbai Board include housing for the very low, low, middle and high-income groups. The lottery covers projects across key locations in Mumbai, ensuring wider accessibility for applicants.

To maintain transparency, MHADA has made the entire application process online. Interested applicants can apply through the official website or app. Authorities have also advised applicants to stay cautious of agents or brokers.

The last date for online application is April 29, 2026, while the deadline for payment is April 30, 2026. The final list of eligible applicants will be released on May 12, 2026, and the draw will be conducted on May 15, 2026.

Income Bracket

A family income of up to Rs 6 lakh annually can apply for a home under Economically Weaker Section of the Society (EWS). Those with an income between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh can apply under the Lower Income Group (LIG) category.

Those with a family income between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 12 lakh can apply under the Middle Income Group (MIG) category, and those with a family income above Rs 12 lakh per annum can apply under the HIG category.
