Mumbai House Break-In Case: Jewellery Worth ₹30–35 Lakh Recovered, Two Arrested in Vile Parle
In a significant breakthrough, police have arrested two absconding accused in connection with a house break-in case after a key accused confessed to the crime during interrogation.
According to police officials, the accused admitted during questioning that he had carried out the burglary, following which he was taken into custody. During further interrogation, he revealed the names of his accomplices, identified as Akbar and Seema.
After the arrest of Mohammad Shakir, both Akbar and Seema had gone into hiding and were on the run for the past two months. Acting on specific information, police finally traced and arrested the duo.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to having sold a portion of the stolen jewellery. Police have recovered valuables, including jewellery in their possession, collectively worth approximately ₹30 to ₹35 lakh.
Following their arrest, both accused were produced before a court, which remanded them to police custody. Further investigation in the case is currently underway.
